Matters of Interest and Topical News from the FESA Secretariat 

Here we Grow Again
FESA welcomes another new member who sees the benefits and services available so commits to join the leading UK trade body for the supply industry to the cast metals sector.

2011 has begun with a surge in the membership with 4 new members joining the growing band of UK foundry suppliers who see the benefits of working with an active and forward thinking Government Approved trade Association. Composite Materials a leading supplier of tooling board and resins, Metal Filtration Ltd, Northern Instruments and Ceramco Ltd have all joined during the first month of the year. Many will be on the GIFA British Pavillion at GIFA in June.

Ultraseal have joined the FESA family. Over the last 30 years Ultraseal has focused on ground breaking solutions to the ubiquitous problem of porosity in castings. This experience and knowledge has resulted in Ultraseal being recognised as the world leader in providing turn-key solutions through both equipment and sealant to a global customer base. They therefore see the benefits of working with a trade association who can work with them to further expand this customer base.

JAI Engineers has signed up to be members of FESA for the next 2 years seeing the advantages of being involved with the trade association and in particular their involvement with world wide exhibitions. JAI Enginnering is a supplier of advanced engineering / high-tech ceramics precision components & assemblies.

RedNet Systems is the newest member to join the growing member lists, RedNet is a specialist supplier of Computer software systems for the Foundry industry.
Acetarc Engineering Co. Ltd. who are a major Foundry and Project Engineers based in Yorkshire have joined the Association their goal is to further expand the current 70% + of export they enjoy. Their range of ladles and other related foundry equipment is recognised throughout the world.

Gwynn Thomas Ltd the foundry extraction specialists and Conticast a supplier of continous casting equipment are the newest members to the Association.

Foundry Machinery and Spares Ltd of Walsall in the West Midlands joined in September 2007 bringing the membership upto the highest level for 10 years.

Industrial Filter Services Ltd of Leeds recognised the value of partnerships and Trade Association membership. Following a short period of consultation Martin Gill of IFS Ltd. recognised the support and benefits from being a part of FESA.
